Being negative is easy. There will always be a downside to everything good, a hurdle to everything desirable, a con to every pro. The real courage is in finding the good in what you have, the opportunities in every hurdle, the pros in every con.

ReplyDeleteSo true, and I sometimes have a problem with that after the kids have broken the same expensive item for the umpteenth time, I get a little negative and suggest perhaps it is not in my interest to replace it "just so they can break it again". An actual scenario last weekend viewing a commercial and Sirdar got annoyed with my negative attitude. The kids agreed with me since they broke the item more than once; might as well not replace it ;-) .
