Smokin' Hot Sunday




It is WAYYYYYYY too hot for us...we will be spending the day in the A/C!!!!!!

    I stepped outside this morning at 5:30 am and it was COOL!!!.. hoping it stays that way...

    it was in the 40s this morning -- and the last few days have been moderate.

    Last year we didn't have one day that hit 100. But our fall stayed relatively warm. This year we had some 106 etc days... and suddenly we are in fall in the third week of August.

    Thank goodness for AC ...
    not sure how we survived the summers
    when I was a kid...

    Our AC decided to stop Friday afternoon and it was late Saturday afternoon before it was up and running again...
    now we are chillin....

    Hi, I agree with you; I took Hunter and Lily(our daughter's dog)out for a walk around 10:00 am and Hunter kept stopping so he could sit in the shade. I've now closed down the house and turned the A/C on but it is set at 76 and not coming on yet. Hope you have a cool day!

    We have been inside most of today too, it is warm, not that bad, but oh the humidity is wicked.

    Hoping for cooler temps for all of us soon.

    it was a pretty sunny not too hot day here in NYC .. however shortly after sunset the humidity amped up .. and the AC went back on ...

    The wind was just HOWLING on Sunday in Anchorage. Trees were bending in the wind, it was crazy. Then, pouring rain!
