Sepia Saturday: More Flooding!

This top photo is of LadyBug exploring our site in Coastal Georgia a couple of weeks ago.

We are still having all kinds of issues with flooding in our area!!  The next set of pictures are of our friends' house...their driveway, their cars, their home...what a MESS.

My heart goes out to all those involved with the current disasters around the country.  California is having a terrible time with fires right now...something weird is going on with this weather.

Let's hope it get's better SOON!!

  4. Hi Y'all,

There always seems to be some tragedy somewhere and the biggest ones come at the hands of Mother Nature. Even God seems unable to control her temper tantrums. I do hope everyone is able to stay safe this weekend and my Humans remember them in their prayers.

Your photo is a good reminder to take weather warnings seriously.

    Y'all come by now,

We always hate to see such devastation caused by Mother Nature. We just read that parts of our Perinton town have been evacuated due to flooding. We sure hope our house there hasn't floated away!
Just gotta figure out how to make Mother Nature happy.

WOW, Jeanne...what a mess indeed! Doesn't it amaze you the severe damage that water can cause?

And I agree...there is something strange going on with the weather. And it's happening everywhere, even in parts of Europe.

I thought of you yesterday because we had LOTS of rain and wind here, which made me think that we were going to get what so many places on the east coast have experience this past week with the storms and tornado's. However, today the sun is out and it's gorgeous.

Have a super weekend, my friend!
X to you and the girlz

  7. We hope things start to dry out there soon. Water can be so damaging. Too bad that water can't be shipped West - we are pretty dry here, but nothing compared to California where those fires rage on and on. C'mon, Mother Nature, get your act together. Our country needs a break from all these disasters.

  17. Wow....that is so horrible. I couldn't even believe all the warnings that kept making noises on the cell phones....we get so many non-events during the winter, it's hard to even pay attention. Rain seems a lot more dangerous than snow! This storm is going to cost a lot of folks a lot of money....
