BlogPaws Wordless Wednesday: LadyBug is Able to EAT!!

I know this is supposed to be wordless...but I am ecstatic to report that LadyBug was able to EAT on her OWN tonight!!  Yes, I blended it up and put her meal on a flat plate for her, but she WANTED to try to eat herself!!  And she even is drinking herself!!

It has been a very long month!!  You can tell by looking at the above picture that her face has a "skeletal" type look to it.  The vet says that is to be expected and it can take up to a year for this to resolve...and it is possible ... for it to return.

I sure hope not!  For now, I am just thrilled to see my girl wagging her tail a little!!

    I am so happy to hear of this improvement!!!!! You must be ecstatic. That "skeletal" look is what our dog had, but his didn't develop right away. In any case, I'm so glad that she's starting to move toward recovery!

    Oh thank dog!!!!!! I am SO glad to hear she is eating!!!!!! I sure hope this is the first big step to recovery! Paws crossed sweet pup!
