So It Begins...

Yes, we had our first snowstorm of the year!  It was worse than what we had expected...but that doesn't really surprise us.  If you know anyone in Upstate or Northern NY...Lake Effect snow has a way of surprising everyone...even the weather guys!

Hopefully, this snow will not stick around for much longer and we will see a few more "autumn" days.  I am not a fan of winter!!

The girls ran around for a few minutes in it, but the winds were pretty fierce...gusting to about 50mph...and when it is THAT windy, they want to come right in!!

  1. OH. MY. GOD....that is A LOT of snow, Jeanne! WOW! I'm jealous though because you know me, I love winter and I especially love snow! So please send some to Philadelphia, okay?

Have a great day, my friend, and stay warm!

X to you and the girlz

  4. WOW! That is a lot of snow. Our Weather Lab Paisley predicted flurries but that is ridiculous. LOL!

  5. Oh Jeanne, I'm cold just looking at the pictures. We were supposed to get up to 15 inches last weekend but didn't get more than an inch or snow. I was so relieved. Looks like you got your share and ours.

  6. Oh wow!!! Snow already?! Ahh, hopefully this storm doesn't come our way too soon to PA!
The pups look like they are enjoying it so far! But I agree on the wind part. I wouldn't be able to handle that for long either....
Thank you for sharing with us!!
Be safe out there and have a great day :)

  10. We've been loving doing snow zoomies. It will probably all be melted in a couple of days though.

I love the snow! But for some reason Dad and ghostwriter don't. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/9589989abb2eeb0fdfcbb232723e5faf7ac89be88ef1804099b10c4139f5f8d9.jpg

  13. Oh my, that is a lot of snow. We had some in November last year, but we have just finally turned cold after a couple of days in the 70s. Crazypants. We sure hope this melts soon and doesn't remain as the base for a long, cold and snowy winter. The photos, however, are gorgeous!
