LadyBug is still suffering from Trigeminal Neuritis and is still very much in need of POTP.
She is still not able to use her jaw or chew. She is still receiving water via syringe. We are now in to our third week.
As you can see, she does not look like herself and she is not acting like herself.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

We continue to send you tons of healing vibes and AireZen, LadyBug!

Thank you very much Angel Pip and family...I sincerely appreciate your thinking of us!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ruby! It has indeed been very stressful. Thank you for your POTP!!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is a very scary condition. I didn't realize HOW scary until we have seen it just drag on. Thanks very much for your kind thoughts!
ReplyDeleteHi Murphy and Stanley! We are trying to remain as positive as possible, but it is difficult. This particular condition can last for 2-6 weeks for some dogs, and for others, they never really get over it. We are struggling to remain positive at this point as we are into our third week. I may take you up on your offer...let me give it a couple of days. Thank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteAnn...she really is miserable..as are we. It is so difficult to see her in this condition. We are doing our best and I thank you for your prayers. They are needed.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your prayers Dory and family....they are needed and very much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteHey Oz, Thanks so much for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. We were really hoping she was going to be better by now. REALLY hoping this condition is not permanent.
ReplyDeleteThank you Amber! Today she seemed hungry, which is a good sign! We are going to try some chicken flavored gelatin tomorrow. We really appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers!
ReplyDeleteRon, Thank you so much for your support. We need all the help we can get right now. This illness came on so suddenly and has lasted much longer than we thought possible. Having read up on this condition, it is possible for it to be permanent for some dogs and that scares the hell out of me. I simply cannot imagine LadyBug having to live with this forever. She seems a little better one day, and then I feel like we take two steps back. Trying SO hard to stay positive. Thanks again Ron.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary. We sure were hoping she would be a lot better by now also. One day it seems as if she improves, then the next day it is worse. Please continue to send positive energy! We need it desperately. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! We need all the help we can get at this point. Your prayers are very needed and very much appreciated!!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Millie and Walter. It has been a tough road for all of us and we sure are hoping with each day that goes by that she will feel better. I really appreciate your support!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Molly. We really appreciate all of your support. We need all the help we can get right now.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kimberly, Lily Belle & Muffin. We are doing our best to get through this, but it has been exceptionally difficult. So little is known about this condition. We really are praying that tomorrow will be better. Thank you very much for all of your support!
ReplyDeleteKaren, we had not heard of it either!! In fact, our vet has owned the practice for 30 years and she said they studied it in school, but she had NEVER had a case. We are doing our best to get through each day, but it has been very stressful on all of us. Tomorrow I am going to try chicken flavored gelating cubes and see if I can get them in to the back of her throat. She seemed a bit hungry tonight...but when we see a good sign...it seems we take two steps back the next. Oh dear lord, I pray that this is not permanent. Thanks so much for your support.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Mitch and Molly and mom...we need all the help we can get right now. Doing our very best to help LadyBug cope with this difficult situation. Thanks again for all your support. We really appreciate it!!
