We Had A Visitor!



We have had the same neighbors at the cottage for the last 25 years.  A new family purchased their place in the Fall and we had not had much of a chance to get to know them.

They stopped over today with their golden retriever, Biscuit!  Isn't she cute??


There was absolutely no way I was going to let them walk by the cottage without stopping to meet Biscuit!  The girls didn't quite know what to do with her!!  Chloe was kind of afraid and a bit standoffish.  LadyBug kind of kept her distance in the beginning, but she came around and decided to say hello after a period of "sniffing".

Biscuit is now nine years old, but her parents are FOURTEEN!  That is pretty unusual for goldens, I think.  Her father is also in a local television commercial!  He is a star!!

That was our excitement for this afternoon!!

I had a couple other photos to share but my Time Warner Internet is NOT working AGAIN....so I can only share this one for now.

    Biscuit is such a cutie, Jeanne! One of my close friends in Florida had a golden and it was sweetest dog. Golden's look so lovable, don't they?


    Happy Monday, my friend! And good luck with getting it straighten out with Time Warner Internet. I had some major issues about two weeks ago with my Verizon Internet and phone service.

    How nice to have a new neighbor AND a sweet Golden.

    We have friends who use Time Warner and they have been without internet and cable for almost a week now - they are furious!!!

    Goldens are such sweethearts. My Tucker lived 13 years and he was my "Golden Child". At least that is what my kids called him. He was the sweetest guy and I sure do miss him. ☺ Biscuit will be a good friend for the girls.
