Catching Up

I have been enjoying the holidays and hope you all have been too. I'm very behind in both posting and reading blogs. Figure I will catch up when my husband goes back to work next week. :)

Went to a movie tonight which was bizarre!!!!!!!!!!!! And probably THE single most violent movie I have seen in QUITE awhile. Something about old men in the country...

And on the way home...a few pics! I just love looking at Christmas lights. I simply can't believe that each year goes faster than the year before!

Welcome back. I am never sure if the movies are truly getting more bizarre or if I'm just getting a little (ok, a lot) more like my mom as I get older...lol.

i don't watch gory or violent movies. i just can't take it. and i miss a lot of very good movies that way.

i think you must have seen "no country for old men." isn't that based on a cormac mccarthy novel? he's excellent. but too violent for me.

I love looking at the lights too. I think age has a lot to do with the time going faster (I speak from experience) yet I think it has more to do with how busy we are as well and how many millions of things we have in our head to do or to remember. Those things come with age too, but they distract from the quiet anticipation of events that children seem to thrive on, yet makes the time go very slow for them.

I've seen the trailer for that movie on tv and it definitely looks bizzare. Gregg wants to see but no way will I be going with him. I love scarey and thrillers, but out right gore is not something I'm interested in. Great to see you back blogging!

I've seen the trailers on that movie. Don't know if I will be going to see it anytime soon as we don't go see a lot of movies.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your break. I'm off work until the 2nd and I am enjoying the relaxing that I am doing.

Hey guys!! For some strange reason, I'm not getting emails when people comment on my blog???? Anyway, nice to see some people are still reading! Sandy, I think the movies really are getting weird. Laurie...I did see the movie you mentioned and I did not like it. My husband thought it was GREAT. Guess it's a man thing. I closed my eyes and enjoyed my coffee through some of the scenes. Dawn, went and saw MORE lights tonight...I will never stop loving that!! Holy Cow, can't believe we are taking decorations down already!! Joy - good choice, tell Gregg to go with one of the guys! Lisa - AMEN to that!! Sirdar - It will be out for rental before you know it! It's definitely a "guy" flick! Hey Dawn - Send me a pic of Lucy Mae...I'd love to see her...you can reach me at jmariepursell@yahoo.com
Brenda - I could NOT agree more!! and RoboCop - Happy New Year to you too!!
