My husband and I were watching the evening news last night and they came on with each of the Democratic candidates, asking each one what their Guilty Pleasures are....
We got the usual answers: Chocolate, Wine, Cigars, More Chocolate, Ice Cream, More Cigars....Imported Cigars....Dark Chocolate.
He says...your Guilty Pleasure is blogging. Yeah, ok, I'll go along with that as I love to read blogs! Now him...he has NONE.
Can you imagine....NO GUILTY PLEASURE!! No Hobbies. Nada. Not A Thing.
And this man says he's retiring as of December.
Oh, ok.
Good Lord. Heaven Help ME!

I am laughing so hard ... my husband says my guilty pleasure is Dell ... as in my Dell Laptop. I'm so addicted to blogging now. Maybe my resolution for 2008 should be to get off the computer more! ha!

buy him a car. or a boat. or a workshop full of tools. heaven help you. my hubby has tons of guilty pleasures.. chocolate, working on his truck, trying to 'soup' up my truck NO - another truck he has to work on. oh and one in pieces.. and electronic stuff, and computer stuff strewn everywhere.. jeez can there be some in between guys who have none and those like mine whose house will implode once he has one because it will be so full of microchips? argh!
My husband retired years ago. We both enjoyed? it so much, he now has a full time job!

Lawdy, we have too many to name. ;) But seriously, I hope he has plans to GET some if he's thinking about retiring. Otherwise he's probably going to be bored out of YOUR mind.
Here's the deal, folks! He already HAS cars, a boat, workshop with tools, kayaks, jetski...and the list goes on....I think he's ADD and doesn't want to spend more than five seconds doing anything! I thank you all for the prayers....as lord knows I'll need 'em!!

Oh, I feel for you. I think he needs to start looking for a hobby post haste or you are going to go crazy.
I feel for you. And I think I'll take on simply jenn's idea as my own guilty pleasure, that sounds rather divine.
Guilty pleasures are not hobbies so he still might do OK when he retires.
I'm not really sure what my guilty pleasure would be. I do like my blogging for sure. I have tons of music so maybe that is it. Sex maybe? Don't know :-)
