The Tree Climbing Bichon!

Over the summer, Chloe spent many happy hours watching squirrels running around up at the cottage. Of course, at that point, she was safely inSIDE watching from her front window perch. At home, she has decided that she must CHASE the squirrels UP the tree!! Since she cannot possibly climb these giant willow trees, my husband thought it would be rather amusing to PUT her up in the tree..."just to see what she would do". I think she was scared. Poor thing. She was shaking! But, she kinda seemed to like it! Enough so that she kind of wants to go up in the tree each and every single day now. This afternoon she decided to chase the neighbor's cat UP the tree....I sure hope the cat made it back to safety as that cat literally FLEW up the tree. Anyway, after my husband had Chloe in the tree, he couldn't reach her. So he had to physically climb the tree himself and hand her down to me....as I stood on a stepstool. So much for our adventures in the backyard. My new neighbors think we are nuts. Seriously. (Aw, Cmon....who can resist that little bichon butt??????)

Too funny, I can't get my kids out of trees either. Especially if we helped to get them up there.

Maybe Chloe is just a little too loved. I think she needs a playmate so you can spread the love a little.

Has she made it up the tree herself now? If she wan't to go up it everyday she may make it on her own eventually. :)

And they say dog's memories are only 7 seconds long. Ha!

She certainly keeps you both on your toes. I wish I had one too!

You know, if she was REALLY spoiled, you'd plant a few starter trees for her! Love the back view - very cute.

LOL too funny that your husband had to climb up there after her LOL And Mushu LOVES that Chloe chases cats too. Poor Mushu goes nuts when he sees one and will get so excited if they stand still...he'll run right by them. Ya. Slightly embarrassing and I swear I see the cats laughing sometimes.

Can you imagine what she must have thought as she was looking at the world from such a lofty perch?

Adorable and so funny. I forget what joy dogs bring to people's lives. Cats are good, too, but dogs... wow.

Hahaha! Cute as a bug!

My husband used to hunt with a guy who's coon hound would climb a tree, but he couldn't get down so they guy would have to climb up after him.

I bet that cat can take care of itself, Chloe might not want to catch it but once. :-)
