Catch Up

Well, let's see. It's been so busy around here, I'm not quite sure whether I am coming or going. The last couple of weeks has seemed like constant packing and unpacking. Actually it WAS. Had a great weekend at the cottage as the weather was nothing short of perfect. Saturday night, we joined friends of ours for dinner at our favorite restaurant, Tin Pan Galley. Dinner was absolutely fabulous....Sea scallops pan seared, finished with a roasted red pepper sauce, served over lobster sweet potato cakes and my husband had the Bouillabaisse lobster, shrimp, clams & mussels in a traditional bouillabaisse served with grilled bread. Our appetizer was so good...our favorite Five spice calamari served with a Thai sweet chili sauce. It wasn't a particularly long dinner as we had to get back to the dogs. Our friends had a new puppy with them who had never been left alone, and we of course, had LadyBug...her first night at the cottage without us. So we went home and watched the most hilarious movie!! It was called Death at a Funeral. OMG, it was hysterical in a twisted British humor sort of way. What a terrific night!!

Movie night with my sister is tomorrow...we're going to see the new Tina Fey movie...let you know how it is!!

That meal sounds heavenly. I haven't seen that film but I watched the trailer and can see it is typical Brit humour!

MMmm dinner sounds delicious except for the scallops, just don't like the taste of those. Do they serve mussels? I LOVE mussels.

Hey you! I want to see Baby Mamma too....looks hilarious!

When did you get a new Bichon????? Oh my gosh, she's adorable!!!!

We just had to put Sophie on Clomicalm but it's made a world of difference. I think she'll need a higher dose though if she's left alone or if there's a thunderstorm (we discovered she's terrified of them).

Sounds like you definitely have been busy, but in a really good way. That meal sounds sooooo good! And it seems like I'm always catching up lately. Can't wait for things to slow down. I'm hoping June LOL

Sirdar and I like British Humour. I will have to keep that movie in mind, although we haven't been watching movies much in the last few years.
