Only a Couple More Weeks!! SATC ROCKS!

The much anticipated movie of S** And The City is almost here! This was THE most entertaining show on TV...besides Friends. I just love, love, love this show and can't wait for the movie. I just hope that the movie lives up to the expectations we all have!! As you can see by reading other's comments there are alot of people that think this not going to rock their world. Who cares...I love Chris Noth! Can't wait to see all my girls back on - especially on the big screen!!! I am SO going to blog about this after I see the movie.

Lots of other things goin' on in my life right now. Trying to decide about Mother's Day. Usually we go to the Lilac Festival, but they were forecasting 90% chance of soaking rain. So, we decided we just may go to Simply Crepes! Another fave place!! Then, Meish wants to go to "Made of Honor" so we can get our Patrick Dempsey fix! Depends upon the weather which we do!!

Do you have plans for Mother's Day??

I'm one of the 3 people in the world to have never watched SATC. How crazy is that?? LOL We loved Friends though and now LOST is our main show!
Lilac Festival... sounds wonderful, but rain would ruin those plans for sure. Hub said I can choose whatever I want to do. And I cannot decide. We have the Art Museum in Philadelphia which is terrific and soooo many good eating places in NJ and PA that it's hard to narrow it down. I do want to see that new movie What Happens in Vegas, with Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher so maybe we'll do that.

I didn't know it was Mother's Day on Sunday until my mother-in-law mentioned it to me yesterday so I haven't thought about it yet. Probably the same as most years, same ol same ol.

It's snowing a blizzard here right at the moment...and I'm not a mom so no plans at all. Maybe I'll be working on the igloo....

Do you know I never watched SATC until it was all over and done with and then I happened to catch a re-run late one night and ever since then I've been hooked! I'd like to see the new movie. Shall I come there and we can see it together :o)

For Mother's Day my girls are taking me to a tea and tour at a fancy hotel in the City on saturday which I'm excited about. On sunday I asked for a quiet day this year so it will just be everyone together playing cards, visiting, eating and most importantly.....relaxing.

Last year I had something I really wanted to do. In the end, I had to do something out at the farm then had to go to a barbecue with the in-laws and didn't get to go to the art show I want to see and didn't get anything done around our place. Tomorrow, more than anything in the whole world, I would like to make some progress on the chicken coop since we are getting the chickens on Tuesday and I don't even have the doors installed. That is all I want, that and watch the finale of Survivor, but we also have to fit in a dinner out which means a shortened day, because one must get a shower and do hair when one has been working in the barns. I might see if I can weasel out of it. I vow not to expect my grown children with children to feel they have to do something with me on mother's day every single year of their adult life until I die.

On the good side, I got a nice flower from the handbells concert, and a journal and pen from church for mother's day and I am pretty sure my youngest got me something as she got something for her aunts and nana. Gifts are fun.
