Terrific Relaxing Day

Perfect Day!! Spent a couple of leisurely hours this afternoon shopping at my favorite craft store and purchasing a mountain of new paper! Heaven I tell ya!! Came home and cooked pork steaks on the grill with pierogies and then took a relaxing after dinner walk. Gorgeous...Hope y'all are having a good holiday weekend! With the exception of the gas purchased today at $4.19.....ARGHHHHHHHH!!

Paper shopping!!! Oh you know that's one of my favorite things to do!
Yummy yummy pierogies too. Oh and that view. Girl those things almost make up for the $$gas$$.
Ours here is about $3.80.

I am up to my ears in knitting at the moment - and in heaven really. I have a huge show coming up at the end of November - 4 days - and I have to get a ton of product made. How do I write and do this as well?

Your pics of the cottage reminded me so much of our lodge. Sigh. Some good memories tho. Enjoy enjoy...that is what life should be about!

Yum, pierogies, that's kinda like Slavic dim sum.

Hey, I know I don't get around to blogs as mucgh as I should these days (most of my reading in in bloglines), but who the hell is Ladybug, and how long have you had her???

Oh, it looks as though you had a delightfully wonderful day!

My kids would be on your doorstep in a heartbeat! Since they are half-Ukrainian, they LOVE pierogies!

What a pretty place you have to retreat to! A great way to spend the holiday weekend!

And, oh what a pain these gas prices are becoming. I guess we have had it too good in the US for too long?

Pork and pierogies! YUM! I haven't pork in ages! You're a much stronger woman than I am. After pork and pierogies I would have taken an after dinner nap, not walk!

The gas prices are terrible here too. I must say, your photos sure captured the relaxing feeling. I am so tired, and the photos make me long for a nice leisurely day at the beach.
