Grooming Day for the Girls

Chloe and LadyBug were both given their favorite treats today! Soup Bones / Marrow Bones from the Butcher. They were given these bones today because tomorrow they are going to the groomer. The bones are awfully greasy and they will not be allowed anywhere in the vicinity of those bones tomorrow after their grooming appointment. So, they spent a nice afternoon chewing on those bones....then sleeping it off as you can see in the pics. Don't they look comfortable??? These girls REALLY know how to relax. Then tomorrow...bubble baths and haircuts! Whew......high stress for them tomorrow. Separation Anxiety like you wouldn't believe. But they will look SO GOOD! More pics later!!

Uhoh! Poor little girlies!

Mark and the kids have a FIT when I give the Scots raw bones...they are afraid THEY are going to get botulism or some dread disease!!! UGH! I have to take the Scotties out on the front porch when I give them bones!

Can't wait to see the girlies all spiffed up! You should take them over to a studio and have Christmas shots taken for cards after they are done! I used to participate in a Christmas card exchange with my Scottie friends, but trying to get good photos of the black-faced boys became such a task, I gave up!!!!!

Have a great day!! Looking forward to seeing the primped pups!

When we take our one dog, Ollie, to get his nails clipped it's sooooo stressful for him (he has to be muzzled and held for the procedure) he gets a plain McDonalds cheezieburger afterwards as a reward. ;)
