Style Mavin?

It's that time again. Well, actually, I haven't had my eyes tested in over a year now. I'm supposed to have them tested more frequently than that. But I don't. Never seem to have the time.

I have to make time for it now. My driver's license is about to expire. And I have to actually pass the eye test in order to get my new license. So, just for fun I took the test on what type of glasses I should get...and here are the results:

The Style Maven
Nothing comes between you and US Weekly. From fresh celebrity fashions to the top places to see and be seen, you keep your eye on the latest trends. Increase your style quotient with frames with bold colors, sexy shapes and lots of bling. Look for daring styles from designers like Bulgari, Dolce & Gabbana and Salvatore Ferragamo. If you need a more conservative style for work, try glasses from classic designers like Anne Klein. And for those incognito Hollywood moments, go for a pair of glamorous oversized sunglasses.

So, maybe next time you see me....I'll be the one behind those glamorous OVER sized glasses! Ha!

Uh oh! Better get those peepers examined soon!!!!

I have never been capable of wearing glasses. They always seem to get in the way and I end up bashing and smashing them. And my face gets hurt in the process!!!

Last year, I got Bausch and Lomb multi-focal Pure Vision contacts. I was so happy to not have to carry around reading glasses any more!!!!

I am always in awe of people who CAN wear glasses. AND look good, too!!!!

I'm always amazed at how much can be spent on plastic or metal frames. My only requirement is that I can actually see through my glasses. :-) Sylin I ain't. Hope you pass that eye exam for your license!

You should see mine. : ) When I first saw them at the doctor's office I said, "Not these!" They were, however, the last pair I tried on and the other women there said get them! they make you look like a movie star.

Flattery worked.

I bought them.

They're the second pair of really WOW frames I've bought recently. The ones before had hot pink "arms" (sides) and the main part was a deep burgundy, frames by Sydney Love (she designs handbags and luggagey things).
