We decided to give babyfood a try...figured perhaps if the food was good enough for babies, it would certainly be good enough for bichons....right?? Wrong. Have you shopped in a babyfood aisle lately?? HOLY Cow! Babyfood is downright expensive...we couldn't believe it!! The girlz are happier eating Little Cesar food with Natural Balance and Solid Gold. So much for the great experiment...

My babies wouldn't eat baby food but they did munch on the dog's food every chance they got. :-)
I made my own baby food by steaming veggies and grinding them up in the food processor. You might try that. It was much cheaper than buying baby food.

Bowtie pasta, mixed veggies and grilled lamb. If I am really desperate I will eat toddler chicken sticks. But I rather have my pasta and I also love yogurt, apples and fish.
Tell the girls to come over and I ill get momma to make us all some fresh pasta.

I was just going to say that baby food taste like dog food - but I've never tasted dog food. Sure didn't like the taste of the last few baby food jars I sampled
Like Karen, I made baby food at home and it was all natural and the babies liked it. Did your dogs eat the baby food?

Edited to add: Should have told you all....the girlz and Zippo ate most of their food...but not all. It wasn't a big hit, but they ate it. Actually, I think I am better off just giving them chicken and rice or pasta with peas and carrots...they love that!
