Last Day on the Road for....Awhile!

How weird is that???? An UNDERGROUND Welcome Center? Wonder how many people visit there...

The last day on the road was somewhat uneventful and B just wanted to get home. He is still a little unsteady on his feet. Fine while driving. But it is still a bit unnerving to not be able to walk quite right!!

I had originally made a reservation at Sparrow Pond for the last night. We decided to stop a bit earlier. The Ohio Turnpike has these fabulous rest areas...with water and electric...you can park your RV there overnight for $15. It was just one night and they had a travel plaza there with a Starbucks and a Panera. What more could I want??? So there we stayed...cooked our own dinner and walked across to the Plaza for a Starbucks after dinner. They have a beautiful grassy area to walk the dogs.

We can't complain too much about the rain. We were on the road 45 days again and it only rained on the way home!

Isn't it funny how wherever you go you can find a starbucks?
Who would've thunk a couple decades ago that it would slowly take over the world with its delicious macchiatos?

Love your blog, following!

Welcome home to *chilly* Canandaigua! I stopped at the lake after dropping Michelle at FLCC and the wind was so strong!

I certainly hope your hubby is all better soon! I pray being at home he can relax and get healthy again!

Welcome home! I'm sorry to see that your husband was so ill, I hope he's well on the way to recovery by now. Vertigo is just awful, he must have been completely miserable.

I hope something can be figured out for hubby now that you are home.

I hate when things like this happen. It makes us feel so vulnerable.
