The Race is ON!

Does anybody else feel like I do?

I feel like I am going about a thousand miles an hour...and not making any progress.

Spent the day washing tons of crystal glasses and cleaning out all of the Fall decorations to make way for my Christmas Extravaganza!  I usually decorate it up BIG.

This year...I just don't feel like doing it up THAT big.

Maybe I'm just in a slump.

Not sure....but I apologize for the fact that my blog has not been all that interesting lately.

The upstairs is completely torn apart with the renovations going on!

I promise I will take pics though...soon!!

Also trying to finish up my online shopping!!

You know, Jeanne, I have been saying lately... "WHY". Why do I feel the need to drag every single thing I have collected over the years and create more kaos than is necessary. Why indeed.

The holidays always overwhelm me. It is hard trying to make it perfect for the kids and keep the spirit alive...but I will do my best:)

I've been going easier in recent years with the decorating. Like the 'less is more' idea and having two curious cats I've got to be extra careful.

Hi Jeanne~ I feel like I'm spinning my wheels. I think I feel behind since Thanksgiving was late this year. Hope your girlz are good :-)

Hahaha, good rant. I know what you mean! I want to put white paper cut out snowflakes on a real evergreen tree, that's it for decorating this year. But noooooo, we've got to pull out all the lights and ornaments. Well, maybe just the lights this year? I am with you all the way with doing more with less. Call it elegance! I ordered a Turducken for our holiday dinner and I feel like that's all I need to do - the rest will fall into place. That and ordering a Smith Island Cake online for dessert (why bake?). Which reminds me to send someone an email inviting them to the holiday dinner - that Turducken will feed 20-30 people. We'll have lots left over.

Night!

Well, your blog is anything BUT boring, Jeanne! I love seeing your blog as there is so much good stuff here! I think you and I might be suffering the same affliction. I am so tired of running in CIRCLES! We NEED to do lunch!!!!!!

Things around here are a bit upside down. I got a couple things done today and it looks a little better. I hope to get more tidied as the holidays approach.
