The Saga Continues...

Here's an update...it is not good news.  We have been through two new alternators and the mechanic still has absolutely no clue as to what is wrong with my Jeep.  They are working on a process of elimination and have the Jeep Dealer involved.  It appears at the moment like it might be the power control module...or something like that.

The fact is...no car!!  So we had to unload all the crap that we had stuffed into the Jeep.  Ben took his little car (which is only a two seater) and filled it with a bunch of the small bags and drove back home.  Tomorrow he is driving the RV back so we can fill it up with all of the "stuff" that needs to be moved back home.  With the temperatures dipping close to freezing, we just can't put off closing the cottage any longer.  Too much chance of freezing pipes...Lord knows...we do not need any more water problems!!  The Jeep will be here for awhile we suspect.  So....we will probably end up renting a car that will fit all of us and do a one way Enterprise Rental when the Jeep is ready to be picked up.  The RV needs to be winterized also...we try to do that prior to November 1st.

So....while we are here...we decided to work on some more tree trimming!!  The girlz love exploring!!  If only I could keep LadyBug from rolling!

On a side note...LadyBug's ear seems to be feeling much better!!

Oh boy.. that sure sounds like a bigger problem for your jeep. You could just push it into the lake.. hehhehehee.. just kidding :)

Hope you all get to go home soon. Freezing and no water is no fun. Please tell the guy way up on the tree to be careful. It sure is very very high up there.

glad the Lady's ears are better. Have a great weekend now.

You've really had your paws full. Winter is approaching. It's even a little cooler here in Florida this weekend but that won't last. Back to the 80's and 90's by next week. Hope everything goes well for you from here on in.

Oh dear, we are so sorry this has to be so difficult. But better to get that place ready for winter than to have even bigger problems. Hope they can resolve the issue with the Jeep.

Car trouble is the PITS! Hope you get it sorted out without too much expense. Glad LadyBug's ear is better! I'm trying to head off an infection that Chloe seems to be developing with some drops but I'm afraid we're headed to the vet :(

I hope you get your Jeep running soon! Nothing is as bothersome as car trouble.

Jeanne, that is terrible about the Jeep...goodness...vehicles are such a great convenience, EXCEPT when they decide to have a problem!

Sounds like you guys make the best of things, though!

The good news is EVERYTHING should fit easily into the RV! Hope all works out well!

We'll have to get together soon for a SANITY CHECK!!!! hehehe

Oh no hope you sort out your car soon!

I ADORE your little doggies so so cute! We have a rescued Chinese Crested Powder Puff called Alfie.

He has just been living temporarily with a lovely Bichon in France until we could bring him back home on his UK pet passport. He is missing his friend a lot, they are a lovely breed :-)
