Isn't it amazing how one can live in a town for over 20 years and still feel like a tourist when visitors come? We had been discussing where to go for dinner and our most favorite restaurant on Canandaigua Lake has closed so we are forced to find other alternatives. My daughter suggested the Sand Bar which is the casual outside patio portion of the Canandaigua Inn on the Lake. My brother wanted to eat outside near the water and this is the only place we could do that! We all had to admit the view was really quite nice and convenient...being only 5 minutes from home!

That looks like a lovely spot & you're right because then we can wonder off to discover new places in town:-) Hope all is going well with treatments.
Sometimes it's fun being a tourist or tour guide in your own town. Looks like a nice place

Yes, I know EXACTLY what you mean, Jeanne! Because when friends or family come to Philly for a visit, I feel like a total tourist taking them all around. And it's FUN seeing where you live through new eyes!
Great photos! Looks and sounds like you had a wonderful time with your brother!
