Does anybody else find it sad to put away all the Christmas decorations?
I dread it more and more each year. And each year the holiday season
seems to be shorter.
On to happier things...it's birthday month around here!!! We got lots of birthdays this month...Husband, Daughter, Bichon #1, Sister In Law.

If my mom were alive today, she would have been 89. I still think of her every single day. Love you Ma!!

January must be the birthday month. Me and brudder Max (DaOdderWeenie) will be 10 this month. Mom and Dad both have birthdays this month. My great Grandma would have been 100 this month. She shares a birthday with my Dad.

We just put away the special tree we did for Pippin this morning. It made us sad. In her memory it will come out again next year. Have a fabulous Friday.

I actually leave our little tree up for another week or two - I like the lights, and in a resort town, most people keep "Christmas" lights up for a while. But you've got a lot of birthdays to look forward to! Happy New Year!

We took our Christmas tree down this weekend and I missed it right away! You have lots of birthdays to celebrate this month! We only have one and it's Gracie's :)

ReplyDeleteYes, in fact I put all mine away yesterday afternoon and it was so sad. This holiday seemed to come and go faster than any other year so far. It just WHOOOSHED by.

We never even got any Christmas decorations up this year because time got away from Mommy. Santa still found us without a tree though! How fun to have so many birthdays this month! That's lots of frosting! :) LadyBug is a very cute present opening helper!
ReplyDeleteI just dread putting packing up all the decorations. Why is it worse to pack it up than it is to pull it all out?
ReplyDeleteWe like to keep our decorations up for a little while after the holidays. They are too fun to put away too fast.

ReplyDeleteDecember is the crazy birthday month for us. My sister has a birthday, two of my husband's brothers and one sister have birthdays and his parents have their anniversary.
There's going to be a lotta birthday cake! We hope you girls get some!
