Sepia Saturday Blog Hop

We have been having a wild ride here in Upstate New York!!  The temperatures have been downright frigid!!  It is currently minus 8 and wind chill is close to minus 28.  The girlz have to race out, do their thing, and RACE right back inside!!  I have tried to get them to wear the boots...no way!!!  They do wear their Canada Pooch puff jackets though!!  They NEED those so bad in this type of weather!!

And then they come in and snuggle together to get warmed up!!

Hope you all are having a WARM weekend where you are!

  1. Nice photos! Your Bichons look flaked out. Are they just cold, or tired too?

  2. The sepia tone kinda warms up all that snow, don't you think? It doesn't "feel" as cold in the photo...but it must be so such snuggling to take place. BOL Stay warm, friends!

  4. Hi Y'all!

We're still here in the mountains and it was 18 Fahrenheit this morning with no wind...going to 48 today. My Human will be so happy when they complete their business and can escape the cold...it'll be cold on the coast, but not this cold! i was limping when we got back inside this morning.

It's not supposed to get above freezing Monday or Tuesday. I can't imagine what it will be like in Upstate NY, or WI, on the lake above Chicago, where the Human's nephew got transferred last spring.

    Y'all come by now,

  6. Hi Jeanne and girls, Our snow started falling after 3:00 a.m. this morning and is still coming down. Hunter went out and now is up on our bed, sound asleep. We have a temp of a balmy 21 degrees-sounds like a heat spell doesn't it. Hope you have a nice warm day inside!
    Sending love your way.

  7. Brrrrr. It hasn't been quite that cold here but temps are expected to drop. I was reading a weather warning and it's calling for wind chills of -45.

  8. It is not warm here at all, but we sibes don't mind the cold. Mom says wait until Monday when it is going to be 10 below here. She worries most about Phantom because he has no fat whatsoever to keep him warm.

    Happy weekend.

  10. Wow! That is incredibly cold! I think Bentley would rather learn to use the toilet than venture out in that weather! LOL! Stay snuggled <3

  12. It is freezing for us too over here in the UK (North East, England). You're lucky to have snow though - we have had one this year! Which is a real shame because my 11 month old Shih Tzu has never seen or felt snow before!!

  16. I bet they potty on the run with those kind of temps. Puppy and Jasper saw their first little dusting of snow last week and whined about it.
