A Relaxing Weekend...

We had a very relaxing weekend and the weather was simply perfect!!

We had a lakefront barbecue to attend and the girls were not happy to stay home, but there were several rather BIG dogs that were going to be running around, so we decided the girls would be much more comfortable at home.

If we had the stroller, I might have taken them, but to be honest, they just don't do well with crowds, so their anxiety level was much better if they just waited for us at home!

How fun! And how lucky you are to have such a gorgeous view. I also don't take Shiner with me to places with big crowds. (Not like I visit many large crowds anyways!) She does good at home.

We had some hot weather here! We weren't too happy though; we were competing in agility!

Agility is especially tough in hot weather! Hope it has cooled down for you!

Yes, Ann, you can be SURE I made it up to them! How is the door working out for you?

Such a pretty sunset. Sometimes it's better to leave the pups at home even if they don't understand.

What a lovely setting for a truly relaxing weekend. We often make the same choice to go without a WDA ambassador.

It really is very relaxing here...that's why we love it! Sometimes, we just have to leave them home...their eyes are just so sad when they know we are leaving!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Thank you Anne...hope you and Ziggy did too!!

Thanks Cindy! Yeah...the girls do not do so well around crowds and are pretty shy with other people...so it's best they stay at home where they are comfortable.

Oh believe me! They are sufficiently spoiled each and every day!!

That is a very good way to look at it! I always tell them to "hold down the fort" when we leave!!

It truly was wonderful...sometimes it's just the best decision to leave them home where they are more comfortable!

Totally agree Ann! I am not personally a fan of crowds either...my girls are just like me!
