Friday Florals: The NC Edition

I took a quick trip to TopSail Island for a couple of days and here are a couple of flower shots I was able to get...

The downside of living in NY is how unbelievably GREY it is for SO long!!  It is wonderful to see the spring flowers come alive when I head south in April!

I sure did miss going for the month though...

the tulips are always my spring favorites... how sad that we can enjoy them only for a short time :o)

Hi there, I love seeing your beautiful flowers Jeanne. Here in Colorado we are still battling winter and I'm hoping the snow this weekend won't destroy the unopened buds on my tulips. I'm so ready for sunny days to stay around til next winter. Hope you have a great day and winter.
Hugs, Noreen and Hunter

Oh, those flowers are just gorgeous!!! Mom remembers many dreary days at Cornell when she would go to visit Dad at law school.

GORGEOUS photographs, Jeanne! The colors you captured are absolutely STUNNING!

Don't ya just love this time of the year? It's so colorful and cheery!

But it's strange though because we've had a huge change in climate here. For weeks it's been warm and sunny, but the past several days it's been raining and very, very cold. It feels almost like fall instead of spring.

Have a delightful weekend, my friend!
X to you and the girlz

It really DOES seem like Fall, Ron! In fact, as I was sitting in front of the fireplace last night...I was thinking...I should not be having this fire in the the fireplace...it is almost MAY! Things are SO far behind!! Happy Sunday Ron!
