Day Trippin' Canandaigua Lake
It was a nice day today temperature wise...so we ventured off to Monica's Pies to pick up one of our favorite Chicken Pot Pies...and also one Red Raspberry...and I am happy to report that neither of them disappointed!
They were superb!! As ALWAYS! Seriously....the best!!
It was so nice to see the sun...if only for a little while.
The temp hits 40 and it feels like spring to us!!
Hope you all enjoyed your day!!

Our Day Trip: Alex Bay!
Once a year we like to take a drive up to the Thousand Islands Region to check out what is happening. It's about 45 minutes each way so we do leave the girlz at home.
The pics are pretty self explanatory...look at some of those beautiful boats! One of them was 63 feet long!
It was a beautiful day...warm...but a little cloudy.
Enjoy!!

Day Trippin' Burrville Cider Mill
We had an interesting day touring the Burrville Cider Mill! The weather was spectacular at 90 degrees! That is very unusual for Upstate NY in late September!
The picture is rather self-explanatory.
Today's post is bichonless...

Day Trip ~ Rochester Public Market!!
We were up early today! Off to start our day at our very first visit to the Rochester Farmer's Market! There's a little bit of something for everyone at this event.
Did you know that fresh tomatoes, fresh lettuce, and home-baked goods can improve your health, your community and the environment, all at the same time? Buying local food is a simple way to do all three. Local food tastes so much better than produce trucked all the way across the country. It puts more money back into our economy and Lord knows we sure need that!
As a child, I have many good memories of visiting the Farmer's Market in downtown Cleveland.
To read about the many Farmer's Markets around, please check out this link!! There may be one near you!!
I leave you with some photos of our adventure!!

Day Trippin'
We decided to take a little Day Trip today...we had to go down to Miller's Nursery and talk to them about the problems we've been having with our Cherry Tree.
It was a nice day for a drive and it was nice to get out and about...so we headed on to Naples....and Woodville....and Bristol.
We haven't been there in years even though we live very close.
It's amazing how much has changed over the years!
So many businesses have come and gone. Places we used to frequent are no longer there or they have turned in to a different business.
I was excited to find "Monica's Pies" though as we used to go there and we love there pies!!
As you can see...we found that they have excellent Chicken Pot Pies!
Highly Recommended!!
