The Never Ending Winter...

Here we are...this is the view from my front porch tonight.

Not exactly what I had in mind!!

I'd rather be looking at a beach...

At the very least...perhaps a Palm Tree!

Nope.

We are under yet another Winter Storm Warning...ten inches.

Sigh...

Going Just a Little C R A Z Y...

Here I was going to write a nice little post about thirteen things that I really enjoy about spring. Then I started looking at my "To Do" list for tomorrow and the upcoming weekends...Yikes, I'm going to be a little bit crazy busy for the next several weeks!!! Have to get the little cars out of storage this weekend, and we are praying it's not going to snow!! Get those little cars all cleaned up and ready to roll as they are a LOT better on gas than the Jeeps are!! Little by little, stocking up the RV with "things" that we know we'll need. We are trying to be very "basic" about it. You guys will laugh! The first purchase I made was a new dog bed for Chloe!!

and of course new collapsible steps so she can get onto the bed! LOL I didn't even get OUR bedding yet. But, we have to take care of first things first! Also picked up tiny little sink / dish drainer set and several little storage boxes for inside the wardrobes and cabinets. Oh, and a set of stackable Rubbermaid containers with lids. And a new coffeemaker. NOT going anywhere without that baby!!


Our maiden voyage is scheduled in a couple of weeks as we have to get the cottage opened up and turn on the water and start our weekly running back and forth to get all the stuff we took home....back there! Once we get it all settled it's great, but it makes for a very, very busy spring! This is the reason we have given up on all of our gardens here at the house. It is absolutely impossible to keep all the balls in the air.

Well, that's just a taste of what I've got going on in my head right now...how about you?? What are you doing to get ready for spring???
