I SHOULD Be Cleaning....but It's Amost Halloween!!

I must prepare!! Decorating for holidays was something I learned from a very early age. My mom just loved the holidays! I really miss her. It is very hard on holidays. She passed away on Sept. 11th. So, in honor of my mom, I decorate each and every holiday...with love. Just as she did for all the years I was growing up. Tomorrow is my first session at Curves and my daughter is going along with me...I am looking forward to it! Hope it's fun!! Then, we are off to the outlet mall to start our Christmas shopping. We try to start early so we're not in such a total rush by the time December arrives. Which reminds me, I had better address my Halloween Cards and get them out in the mail. And, finish up my Thanksgiving cards...and start on the Christmas ones!! Hope you all had a great weekend!!

My husband and I do not do much decorating but we sure enjoy others' decorations. Have a good time at Curves.

Holidays are hard when we've lost someone, I know. I almost gave up on having my first Christmas without my parents, then I realised how mad at me they'd both be! I kind of feel that my carrying on our family traditions for the holidays is a way of paying tribute to them though.

Are you in Bermuda? I love your name...but I think the pictures look too cold for it to be Bermuda...I'm curious!

Happy decorating for Halloween..and I love your blog. I'll be back:)

What a nice way to remember your mom! I love holiday decorations. Unfortunately, so do my dogs. It's getting harder and harder to find non-toxic decorations, you know!

I'm happy to hear you are in such great holiday spirits. I also love the holidays and my mom passed that decorating bug down to me also. I'm sorry about your mom. It sounds like she would be awful proud of you. Have fun at the mall (I'm jealous). See ya.

Have fun at Curves - I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about it.

I am so sorry about your Mom. But you are paying a wonderful tribute by the (awesome I might add) decorating and even this post. I love decorating for the holidays too. But I'm quickly running out of room storing it all!

Doing your best, even at decorating, is a great way to honor your Mother. Great job.

I decorate for the 4 seasons (well, spring and summer stay the same) rather than for the holiday. I like to change the look of the place when the weather changes.

We don't do anything for Halloween. We haven't had any visitors for 3 years.
