Super Cute and G R E E N too!!

I was going to post today about CATS, but this thing caught my attention, so I'm changing my mind....the CATS post will have to wait for another day.

I happened to sign on to my home page and there in front of me is Time Magazine's Hottest Gadgets of 2007! Well, I have to check out the latest and greatest gadgets!! That's just me! I miss my little Sony Clie PDA :( but it was only compatible with Windows 98. I'm constantly reminding my husband that we have to keep this stuff updated....and I mean C O N S T A N T L Y. Software, and hardware too these days is good for like ten minutes. So, when I see a headline that screams HOTTEST GADGETS, well, I just HAVE to read it. The first one was kind of cute....you know, the IPhone, which only works with AT&T Cell Service...which I hate. It only works in about two states. Probably Alaska and Hawaii. Anyway, I could purchase a brand new Dell Inspiron Laptop for the price of that baby. I'm thinking a cute PINK Dell. Note to Self: Put Cute Pink Dell on Christmas List. Yeah, like I'll get that. Uh huh. My stepson makes computers. We currently have three laptops and a desktop sitting here in the house and just my husband and me living here. That's ok because it's always good to have a backup. I think we have replaced the hard drives in all of these computers at least twice. BACKUP people. Remember to Back Up your stuff. I learned the hard way. WHOA. I'm getting off-track here. Check out these super cute little green citi-cars. Coming soon to a city near you....well, available in 2011!!

Aiming for the sweet spot between the comfort of a private vehicle and the efficiency of public transportation, the City Car from MIT's Media Lab is a stackable electric car that can be checked out like a luggage cart at the airport, then returned to any station around the city. Electric motors in each wheel eliminate the need for a mechanical drivetrain, and these 5-ft.-long (1.5 m) two-seaters zip along at 55 m.p.h. (about 90 km/h).

You can read more about this super cute little invention here.

That is so cool! But they're so small they look like baby carriages! Wonder what they'll charge to rent them, I would so much rather do that than hop in a taxi.

I love new electronic gadgets but some of them are so expensive that all I can do is look at them and drool.

." BACKUP people. Remember to Back Up your stuff. I learned the hard way. WHOA. I'm getting off-track here." - this was so funny! I love the idea of that little stackable car - love it. See ya.

Oh, to live in a city and have one of those adorable cars. Sigh.

Fantastic idea, absolutely adorable but absolutely way too small for my fat ass I'm sure. Then try and get these giraffe legs of mine in there. Ya. I'd look like one of those circus clowns. And if at all possible I try not to look like a circus clown.

Those are pretty cool!! Now you will have to try the Smart Car. I wouldn't mind one as I drive around 40,000kms/year. Ours are diesel though...the American one is gas.

It is hard to keep up with the latest gadgets. Plus, the cost so darn much these days.

We have two computers up and running. The iMac and an old WinXP. I wouldn't mind a laptop...but mine would be a MacBook Pro :-)

Oh I want one, I want one - even if just to use on our property. They are so cute! Leave it to MIT, those geniuses!

It definitely is cute. I must say, it wouldn't do much for us out in the country. That's the only thing about being out of the city, one has to have a vehicle that gets you places further away. Hope you get your newest gadget in 2011
