Wise Old Man
One evening an old wise man told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil.
It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good.
It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith. "
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old wise man simply replied, "The one you feed."

I just read this to my grandson. Thank you.
I like that.
Makes sense to me. I'll see about showing the kids this.

There's a perfect post award out there somewhere. If I had it, I'd give it to you. Bravo.
Excellent, excellent, excellent. No other profound words to comment on this, except just excellent!
That is a great moral story. It is so true.
nicely put!
i thought that was neat, but then I read it to my husband, and said which one do you feed.. the one that's hungry.. and he laughed and said, yes, the one that's hungry.. silly us!
After a REALLY bad day at work yesterday and a continuing cranky mood today, I needed that. Thank you!!!
