At least ONE of us had a great day at the Spa!!!
Chloe has a little bit of a problem with separation anxiety....if I am more than four feet away from her, she gets nervous. Very nervous. Today she went to Zippo's groomer. It was the first time she had been to see Lisa since she weighed THREE pounds. It has been a very long time. For the past four years, Chloe has been going to a groomer downtown and I have been very happy with this groomer. She was very well trained....been to the best training, always did a superb job, went out of her way to make us happy. However, this groomer decided to sell her business. The new owners are not that friendly. In fact I have had exactly one five minute conversation with the new owner and my conclusion...they suck. They are not into customer service at all. I know for a fact, that they are business people and not trained in the dog grooming business. I don't think they even LIKE dogs. So, I'm taking her to Zippo's groomer now. I'm extremely pleased with her work and feel like I should have given her a chance from the beginning. Live and learn I guess!!!
Chloe does NOT like to pose. She particularly doesn't like to pose when she is MAD at me. And believe me. She is MAD at me tonight. She is MAD because I actually left her for two solid hours today in a place where she was not familiar. And I didn't even stay with her. But she did ok. Lisa said she was like a frozen statue.
Doesn't she look pretty though????? She'll stay clean for about one day.

I thought she looked like she is smiling. :) Glad pretty girl had a good spa day, maybe you should go to her spa next time. :)
I am such a bad dog mom about grooming! I generally just wait for rain and shove them outside.
I actually just have a problem finding one groomer who is good with the little guy and not afraid of the normal size dogs. Some day, though.

So cute! At least someone had a good beautifying experience this week. Our old German Shepherd would pee on our carpet every time we took her in to be boarded. She was SO mad and knew how to get us back.
she looks cute, lol. at least she did well. we've never taken our dog, she's not exactly a breed you groom. lol. We do her toenail and get her rear trimmed.
She looks very pretty!! Barbie and Buddy are over-due for grooming - I need to take them in next week. Have a good weekend - see you later. Kellan
Awwww what a pretty girl! She looks like she's smiling at me :o) I'm going to video tape Mushu on the way to the groomers the next time he goes. All I'm going to say is....you won't believe it.
She looks lovely and white. We take George and Frodo to a lady who has her grooming place in her garage and lives not far from us. She used to work in the place in town that we took George to, but then it was taking 2-3 weeks to get him in and being the last minute person I am, it didn't work so well. This works great as I could potentially walk there and it is a 2 minute drive. Glad it worked out with Cloe and she will get used to the new place in ....about 6 years.
