Happy Valentine's Day!!

As you all know, I enjoy holidays...ALOT!! I celebrate them all in every way I can!! As the years go by, Valentine's Day does not have the same....uh....punch...that it used to!! When my husband and I first started dating, we used to do it up big time. Every single year we would go to Niagara Falls, Canada to celebrate Valentine's Day. In a very BIG way!! Flowers, candles, chocolate, gifts, gorgeous hotel with jacuzzi...overlooking the magnificent Niagara Falls. Did that for several years. Then, we switched to bigger warm weather vacations in April and smaller Valentine's Day celebrations. One year, my husband (boyfriend at the time) put together a DVD of lots of our happy & special times together. One time he spray painted a HUGE heart out in the snow, outlined with sparklers that said I love you! One year he actually dressed up AS a HEART....oh, I better not describe that whole scene to you. But you get the idea!!

Those were the days, my friends...now that we've been married fifteen years, I am lucky if I receive a card and chocolates.

Hope you all have a SUPER HAPPY Valentine's Day!!!

Heck we haven't even been married 5 years yet and I'm still lucky to get much, it's too close to my birthday. :) Happy Valentines!

You have had some very memorable valentine days. My hubby actually remembered this year, which he doesn't always! Hope you do get a card and chocs!

So funny about the heart outfit. How nice you celebrated in big ways. We don't do much for valentines. We went out with our friends a week ago and spent a fair amount and that was a lovely way to spend valentines in lieu of the actual busy day.
