A Bermudabluez Investigation:

This particular investigation will require the help of you....my readers!! I am beginning a list of road trips. Any road trip. No real guidelines here folks.
Tell me where your favorite places are. They can be out-of-the-way places, or they can be famous places....big or small, urban or rural. Doesn't matter!! My stepson asked me today when he came over to scope out the RV, if I have decided on where we'll be going. Well, I know that one trip we have planned is to Minneapolis....next Christmas. But in between now and then...we have to take some small trips. Yes, Sedona is on the top of my list. But. We have to start with baby steps....like a hundred miles on the first trip...then 200....and so on.

A few ideas I have already:

In NO particular order!

*Sedona, AZ
*Santa Fe, NM
*Taos, NM (hmmmmmmm.....do you sense a pattern here????? - I LOVE the West!!!)
*Denver, CO
*Sanibel & Marco Island, FL
*Key West / Key Largo, FL
*Northern Florida to visit friends
*Palm Desert, CA to visit my friend
*Tennessee...visiting Bichon friends!
*NYC - to rendezvous with coffeebarchick!
*Edmonton, Alberta, CA - to join the blogging crew of ASpotofT, Colours of Dawn, and Sirdar for Coffee!! (and Chloe would REALLY love to join Mushu at the Dog Park!! In fact I might just kidnap the little guy for awhile!!)
*San Antonio - so Kellan and I can enjoy lunch!
*Wisconsin - so Lisa and I can share an art class!!

Oh, and I think I'd like to go back to New Orleans. I haven't been there post-Katrina and I imagine it is quite different. Let me know what ideas you all might have!! We need all the help we can get!!

Although...I'm pretty sure it's going to take about six months just to get through the owner's manual. NO WAY am I taking this thing out on the road without my husband...I couldn't even maneuver the McDonald's Drive-Through without takin' off a piece of the roof!!

And just for fun:
McDonald's RAP!!!!

You are so cute!! Those all sound like great destinations, but I didn't see San Antonio on that list! I love NM - that's where we go skiing all the time (Red River) - it's really pretty there and Santa Fe is a neat town for shopping, etc. Have fun making up your list - what fun!

I hope you had a good weekend. Thanks so much for coming by and leaving the kind thoughts and prayers for your sweet baby. I hope you have a good day - see you soon. Kellan

I too love anywhere West, there are tons of beautiful places in Utah. NM is awesome, Joshua Tree National Park & 29 Palms Oasis in CA.

I can hook up with you in the cities in December. :) But Door County WI is a beautiful summer place to visit.

Must come east too, my dear...to Boston of course. Don't forget Littleton, NH...its a darling town. Must do Mt. Washington too, I hear it is beautiful..its on our list. Oh, and Mystic, CT, and Newport, RI. Those are quick, one day trips.

Don't forget to tell me when you are coming to Boston or Newport. Perhaps we can meet for coffee or lunch??

Your list has a load of fun places so far. I'm gonna go west someday dang it. Have you ever been to Memphis? I was disappointed in Elvis's Graceland (70's yuck) but the museums and his plane are great fun to go through.

I LOVE VA Beach, coffee!!! We go there every year and my family lives there. Definitely put that on your list, BB.

And here, too....we're about 4 hours north of VA Beach. 3 if you drive fast. :)

If you're going to Sedona, you'll definitely have to check out Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon! (of course, I'm sure Chloe would love to visit the original Dog Beach in San Deigo =8)
