I Passed! I Passed!!
WooHoo!! I have been in the process of trying to adopt another bichon. It's been in the works for awhile, and it has been so HARD to keep my mouth shut. But I didn't want to say anything until we were most of the way through this process!
This little bichon that is in need of a new home is located five hours from me~so that complicates the procedure. No adoption is finalized without a Home Visit. And they don't have any volunteers even close to here. So, the agency had to wait until they got a volunteer from another organization to come and do the visit. The visit was today. I was a nervous wreck, but both Zippo and Chloe acted like perfect little angels!
So, the next step is just trying to work out the travel arrangements...and here is a photo of the Little Lady.....isn't she cute??

What an adorable little lady you have there! Our dogs are a bit bigger... a Vizsla named Ollie and a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Black Lab mix named Rev.
Hope the rest of the adoption process for your new Bichon goes well. :)
Precious!
Yes, she is adorable - how exciting!!! So glad for you and for her!!
Have a good weekend - Kellan
exciting! good luck - and congrats!
I love it!!! Chloe will be so happy to have a friend. I think your entire family will benefit for another member. YAY for you!!!
so cute...and what a good dog mom you are to rescue!
I came over from the link in Lisa's blog to see your cards, Instead, I just have to ask a question. Is Bichon pronounced like bitchin'? If it's not, that's how I've decided to pronounce it anyway. Good luck with the new baby! :-)
she is adorable...congratulation!!
Awww, she's another cutie. Will Chloe be jealous?
So precious and big congratulations are in order for sure!!
Congratulations another little cutie~ but I was wondering the same as Brenda about Chloe being jealous~sharing mom might not go down too well!
Congrats! I did a home visit for a rescue group once and thought I'd do more but not many are needed up here and just haven't pursued it.
Yay for you! And Chloe!
Congratulations, how exciting and what great pictures!
