Lady's OK!

Spent an hour with the vet and after much examination from head to toe....LadyBug has a sprained back. She apparently jumped off the couch or bed and landed wrong. So she is on "bedrest" and 1/2 of a children's aspirin at bedtime. It is NOT easy to keep her quiet and she is not happy in a crate, so I'm doing my best to keep her relatively immobile...not an easy task! I'm just so happy that she is ok!

oooh, poor Lady!!!! I'm so sorry! That's one of my fears with Sophie. Our bed is up pretty high and she always flies off of it.

I hope Lady feels better soon and that you can find a good place for her to rest.

Hugs to her from Sophie!

So glad you have found out what's wrong. It's difficult to get dogs immobile, lets hope it heals soon.

I'm just glad it wasn't more serious!

Hey, getting up is dangerous. I think some mornings trying to get out of bed has caused me a few ouchies too.
So we should all just rest!!
A children's aspirin for LadyBug, a muscle relaxer and a strawberry dacquiri for me. ;)

Oh Thank God! Poor little mite! I'm happy it was nothing worse - although that will be bad for her.

Still - I know your thoughts have settled some knowing what it is.

Give her a pat on the head from me.

I'm so glad she's ok too! I'm sure it's hard to keep her calm but I hope she feels better soon. :)

Glad she is okay too. My sister's little min schnauser got run over by a gator (green machine with 3 wheels and a place to carry stuff in the back). She knew there were no internal injuries or broken bones but bruising so gave him people meds and iced his hip. He didn't want to move and slept most of the time, but every 3-4 hours she would get him up and make him go out and get a little exercise. He would do his business then want in to sleep. My BIL had run him over and a couple days later, accidentally stepped on him in the dark porch. A couple days later he dropped a Tupperware bowl of soup on him. The poor little Hank was depressed from the trauma and it made it worse thinking his owner was bound and determined to off him;-). All is well now, after a week he made a full recovery and is running around just like before and is no longer afraid of the big bad BIL;-).
