I saw THIS ONE's baby tonight in my yard - I DID! It was 'zactly the same kind/color and it was down in the sprinkler thingy when I opened it to turn on the sprinkler to one section of the yard. I tried to convince Chloe to get the snake outta there so I could turn on the switch, but she wouldn't - so I got my husband.

Stay away from them thar snakes!

Take care - Kellan

Yikes! I hope it's not a Copperhead!! I don't THINK we have them here in NY. My husband says it's harmless. Uh. Yeah. EASY for him to say as I am SCREAMING and trying to jump onto the table!! My neighbors think I am SOOOOOO weird!!

I must say that after we acquired a snake as a pet a few months ago I am definitely not so squeamish...I will actually hold it occasionally!!

OH WOW, I'd freak. Worms actually make me so sceevy that I get the serious creeps all over my skin. And to think there are very large versions of little worms like snakes..... OMG.

sigh. I like 'em. Have always been intrigued since the first garter snake I caught at age 7. They feel nice, like supple leather.

please don't hurt them, they're such good guys - if you have them around it means there are bad guys they're eating, right?

I kind of like snakes but then we don't have the poisonous ones around here and we don't really have many around here either so I guess I don't have bad experiences with them. Still it would be gross to step on one with bare feet.

Hands down I would pee my pants if I was walking through the grass and came across that!

This is a true story....

Our garage was left in a state of "undone" for quite a long time. One day, I went out to the garage and a snake greeted me.

Grossed out,(but semi-brave)I snatched the blamed thing up on a shovel and threw it down the driveway.

That stinkin' thing slithered right back up the driveway, making my SKIN crawl.

Being fairly patient, I snatched it onto the shovel again and walked it WAYYYYYYYY down the driveway. As I walked up the driveway, it was right on my HEELS.

This is when I SNAPPED. Unfortunately, so did the snake. I just couldn't take having that thing FOLLOWING me....

Thinking about it STILL grosses me out...BLECH!
