The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen. Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention. A loving silence often has far more power to heal and to connect than the most well-intentioned words.

Interesting, and very true!
Amen, amen!
I agree and I need to do this more often!
I try to listen but I fear many times I'm a failure at it. Wonderful inspiration!
You know what...I used to be ALL TALK ALL THE TIME...but in the past few years I have learned to listen and now I find it's a nice way to zone out at times....LOL No no I joke. I really do listen and it's GREAT! Makes the other person feel so special. That's all we really want, is for someone to listen to our story.
I love the new template by the way. You're so SAVVY when it comes to this. I wouldn't even know the first thing about changing my template. Where do you get such WICKED designs?
I love Rachel Ramen. I have two of her books. She is an amazing person. I think she must be a great listener because her patients really opened up to her and shared. We are freezing down here in Oklahoma, guess you NY'ERS are blowing it our way! Love the winter look, really makes those bichon pics stand out!
