My daughter and I usually go to the Lilac Festival held here each year in May, but we will not be going this year. The weather is supposed to be rather cold and possibly rainy, so we are off to explore a new part of town....Park Avenue!

The lilacs around here are not so nice this year. A huge bush right at the entrance to my local Barnes and Noble is just shriveled and brown. :(
I just got some fresh lavendar plants at the greenhouse. They are very small, but I've heard they grow fast!
