Toyota vs. Honda

Give me some feedback here guys....we are looking at two cars...for a more economical option to our Jeeps. We are looking at the Toyota Yaris and the Honda Fit. One of the main reasons we are seriously looking at the Honda Fit is because it is towable...flat...on all four wheels. Right now we are renting cars as we go along on the road...but at some point we may look into towing our own vehicle...besides my scooter - ha!

Now...given a choice...I would definitely go with a SUBARU Impreza...WRX...I LOVE this car!!! And nothing beats it in the snow...NOTHING!! But, it's too much $$$ right now. Sigh.

Any ideas ? Feedback? Good or Bad?? Did you happen to NOTICE the COLOR of that Honda....PURPLE!!! Can you guess which color we are going to get!!! Ben refused to even consider anything remotely pinkish...

Generally speaking, Honda have the edge when it comes to overall quality.

I've had a lot of Hondas and loved every one of them. Tend to be very reliable, economical, safe, well built. Don't know the Fit, though...

I'd go with the Honda. We both have Honda's...originally we bought Accords, then hubby just traded his in for a Civic. So far, we love that car as much as we love the Accord. One of his co-workers purchased a Fit not long ago and LOVES it!! Gas mileage is fantastic, it fits him, his wife and his two young boys (6 and 8) as well as anything they need to pack.

As far as quality - its a toss up. Both have good reputations, but I think Honda is better than Toyota.

Good luck!!

I have a Honda Fit.... [plated Hissyfit] Love it!!!!!! suits my 3 bichons very well as the whole backseat is 3 doggie beds and seat belts with soft snack and water dispensers. Yuh- you got it, I got the car for them. My convertible was just not comfortable enough. And I figured... the environment did not need more screwing up. The Honda drove better and was more responsive when I test drove it... BTW mine is orange... orange you glad you asked for input?

I vote Honda. We've driven them for years and they are reliable beyond belief. Plus, my sister in law just bought a Fit and said the MPH she's getting is incredible.

I would first see which one I could get in and out of the easiest. :-)

I think they are both nice, but I think I love the Honda a bit more. Especially in purple! Awesome.

Jee, I can't help with this one because we are looking at a Ford Escape. LOL I need more room for crafting. And to have the extra room for when my daughter has appts. and I'm transporting babies and car seats will be good too.

How can you not like a purple car though??

Whatever you end up with... enjoy!!!
