Is it just me or have others experienced illness throughout the months of November and December....and January too??
I've been sick for way too many holiday seasons throughout my entire life. A couple of years ago, I spent 6 months with double pneumonia.
As I woke up for the last couple of days feeling rather awful, I am really hoping that this is not the beginning of something else.
I did get my H1N1 shot last week, but I think it has been too long to be a side effect of that.
Well...I am going to get as much sleep as I possibly can as it seems to be what my body is needing right now.
I leave you with Inspiration for the Day:
When considering a difficult decision,
look ahead in your life toward
the day when you will die,
and consider: which option
would you regret most *not* doing.
In most cases, your answer will be
immediately clear.

Jeanne - I would suspect that H1N1 shot. Seriously. It's why I don't get the flu shot. Rest and fluids, best option. Feel better!
We didn't get the shot either...Hundreds of Doctors Can't be wrong...and my gut said...no!
Get Better sweetie!hughugs
It probably is the shot, sometimes it takes up to two weeks to have side effects. I hope you're feeling better soon!
I'm thinking it's the shot too.
It's not for me - I'm allergic to just about everything so that shot would probably do me in.
I think people tend to get sick during the holidays because of the stress, lack of sleep and spending more time out and about in group settings. But, in your case this year, I seriously wouldn't rule out the ripping up of the old carpet. Like I said before, we had a good 3 months of illness after we ripped ours out this summer.
Oh wow, I am so sorry to hear you are under the weather. We generally don't get sick, but this year, Mark and the kids did. I plan to stay healthy!!! (I did get sick every January for a few years back when the kids were younger) As Karen said, stress causes our bodies to pick up anything and everything!!! I hope you feel better REAL soon!!!!!
the good news is that if it IS the flu shot, your body is responding to establish good immunity!
Seems like a difficult time of year though. Time change, loss of sunlight, work/life speeds up with holiday pressure, schedules are disrupted. A prescription for pushing too hard and getting sick!
Hope you're feeling better soon... meanwhile, listen to your body and give it what it needs... REST!
I don't think it is just you; that's why they call it flu season. I have been feeling under the weather for the last two months. I hope it doesn't last all winter. Feel better soon.
My regular flu shot made me feel icky. But don't take pain reliever - the doctor on one of the morning shows said that the drugs can interfere with the immunization
