Just a few snow pictures to show you what we have been dealing with! Not to mention the fact that our heat bill was double this December than it was last year...It HAS been really cold!
I'm ready for a little January Thaw right about now!

Ok, after seeing all that snow, I need a blankie, some 'pucino foam and I need a snuggle! And that's from just seeing the pictures! Before me, my family lived in the "belt buckle of the snow belt"- Ohio. They talk about snow with a frown on their face, so they really did not like it...Stay warm!!!!!
It's really beautiful once you get used to it. Looks like diamonds in the moonlight - or something pure and unbroken after it has just fallen.

I'm with you on that. Even though it's not been as cold here, it's still been cold enough so that the snow and ice isn't completely melting from the last storm. That's rare for the Denver metro area. Usually it snows and sticks around for a day or two and then melts. Feels like winter has gone on for 6 months already....

My neighbor said "hi" as I was using a squeegee to brush off about 1 1/2" of snow yesterday morning. She said she hopes all the snow doesn't turn to ice. I wondered if she thought I was nuts. Well, the sun that came out today melted nearly all the snow off our driveway! hurrah!!!!!
You need to get a woodstove!!! I love ours...it is worth it's weight in GOLD! Of course, 20 wooded acres surrounding us helps, too!!!!
Looks like Zippo really likes the snow! The girlz, too!!!!
last year WE had the cold weather.
Today it was over 60 and the wind about blew me over. I'm not sure which is worse.
A thaw? Girl, I am ready for spring ;-)
We've had snow too, luckily the last couple of days it started thawing, but I know we can expect more later on this month and into February.
And my only pair of flat botts just broke. Damn.
