There was this piano that we needed to get rid of. We tried to give it away but no one wanted it. I should say that no one wanted to come and get it. So, my husband took it into his own hands and took it apart...piece by piece...and this is the sequence of events...
Noooo! You are going to leave us in the lurch? After that series of overwhelming pictures (at least to anyone with no DIY talent) with all the nuts and bolts and springs? OMG, I HAVE to know how this ends.
Oh my....what a guy hubby is! What a big project taking a piano apart! You must be happy to have the space it took up as they do take up a lot!!! The pieces look like they were quite beautiful.

LOL...oh, kinda looks like one of my husband's fits. I am so surprised you couldn't find a picker-upper for that piano!
That took a lot of patience to
dismantle a piano.... gimme a
sledge hammer ..
Love the photos !!
Spare parts! Call American Pickers and make some cash.

This cliffhanger is better than LOST :-)
OMG! Nobody wanted it? What's wrong with people???
That's amazing! That series of photos is art.
Interesting. I know you and your hubby are crafty - so what do you plan to do with the parts?
Oh my gosh, did he turn it into a tool bench???
I cannot imagine going through all that effort! I can imagine having one like that though, lol. What work that had to have been!
wow, some of those carved pieces are - or were - absolutely beautiful. Like strange, abstract sculptures.
