Funny,Jeanne....we went to Penn Yan Friday night to drop the kids off at a friend's house. When Mark asked what I wanted to do, I suggested taking just a little ride around a bit of Keuka Lake to look at cottages. YIKES! There are some AWESOME houses there. As we drove and got our socks knocked off, it occured to me that there are a whole LOT of people with LOTS and LOTS of $$$$!!!!! It is fun to see all their "stuff" but in all honesty, I am happy where I am. I just cannot imagine all the headaches of managing all that STUFF! I love that last photo of the sign...too cute!
so you were in Jacksonville huh? And you didn't call me?? But where is Flamingo Lake?! It's possible I don't know the entire city but I don't know where that is. I wish you'd have come to the beach - you would have LOVED it here! I was just up on the Georgia coast myself...north of St. Simon's. My blog has several posts recently about my good times there.
I was shocked to see the flooding in your community, via your photos. Oh, I do hope people's lives weren't torn apart too badly. That's was scares me about hurricanes....
We always enjoy strolling marinas & looking a boat names, cheap entertainment for us! The the price of fuel, it's a wonder anyone can afford to take those yachts out~

That last pic would be enough to convince Mom to stay away.
Marinas and ocean scenes are just so relazing, beautiful shots you brought home.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Cool! Love the sign....
I have vertigo too so boats aren't for me. I've tried!! Two cruises but just can't manage another one.
So I'll have to admire them in photos. Good ones!

a yacht would be fun if someone else was in charge. Scares me to be responsible for such a big craft.
