Evening Stroll through the Garden

I made the girlz wait until late tonight to take a stroll around the yard...wanted to check out my "night" setting and see if I could capture these cute little solar animals that Ben picked up for me yesterday...It is difficult to see them really...but I think you will get the idea.

Not too happy with the deer that are munching on my hosta!!!  And they ate ALL of the blooms off of my tomato plant.  I have NEVER had  the trouble I  am having this year with the deer eating!!  I have tons of herbs in that garden along with chives and they have not touched it before.  Maybe it's the heat.  Apparently, it makes them hungry.  GRRRRRR...makes me MAD!!

So...here's a bunch of miscellaneous pics of the new little garden solar lights...one is a butterfly, one is a dragonfly and one is a hummingbird.  Then, there's just some pics of the girlz exploring and a couple of the plants that the deer have been dining on.

We will be spending the majority of the day in our A/C tomorrow!!  My asthma doesn't take too kindly to this oppressive humidity and heat!!

Stay Cool!!

Your new little lights are so pretty and your sweet little whites are too:) We have been spending most of our days and nights inside with this horrible heat. We hope it cools down some soon.

It's brutal here too. UGH!... I got all the barn and garden chores done before 7:30 this morning.

Love the garden lights, how cute!

Stay cool! Can you put netting over the plants to protect them? We don't have deer in our area, just lots of hungry little bunnies!

Mom jus' wuvs your new solar lights. She jus' put some solar wind chimes in our cemetery where all da pups before us went. Lots of weeds out dere to clean up. Me guesses da deers are hungry too. Mom keeps her tomato plant in a pot on da screened pool deck so da animals and bugs can't get on it. Good luck wit da deer problem. Maybe dey need some deer food! BOL

Sorry about the asthma challenges. The Shelties seem to keep most of the larger critters at bay, but we still have something getting at the veggies.

AHAHAH, that was funny - I was thinking this was about aliens and has Jeanne gone batty? Is she prematurely getting ready for Halloween, being as she's got an orange and black blog background, is this post about ghosts? What up? Then you got me or rather I got you ...

Cute! : ))))

The pups are absolutely adorable! We're just venturing into vegetable gardens - we have tomatoes and peppers this year. So far so good! :)
