Cottage Gardens

We don't have much time left here at our cottage and we are pretty sad about that, but we'd like you to walk along with us in the garden today!  We will be closing up in just a couple of weeks as we do not have water here...the temps are already dipping into the 30's at night!

Check out this little baby snapping turtle we found!  Dad put his finger there so you can see how tiny he is!  Isn't he cute???
See that little Green Guy Grasshopper inside the Dahlias???  For some reason they just love the Dahlias!

I must guard the moongate garden from predators!!!  Predators like the Green Guy!!  See that screen???  That was supposed to keep those deer away...we still ended up with just a handful of baby tomatoes!!

I am just going to sit here and hide in my garden...Mama says I need a bath!!!  ~Groan!~

What a tiny turtle!!! Hope he can survive the colder temps. You are lucky to have that nice cottage to visit in the warmer weather. Time to get ready for snow now - we are smiling at that thought.

Oh, I love that baby snapping turtle! Good thing it isn't an adult with that tempting finger so close! Enjoy the gardens before that dreaded bath!
