News...and the Dog Park

Time has flown...it really didn't seem like we were gone for a month.

We walked in the door and couldn't quite believe it.

Sometimes, it seems like we never left!!

The phone has been ringing.  Dr. Visits have occurred.  Blood has been drawn.  News that had not been expected.

Most of you know that I suffer from a variety of autoimmune diseases, and now I have been referred to yet another specialist and must change medications because the ones I am on are not as effective as they once were.

I shouldn't say I am in crisis mode...but in the Dr's words...this is not your garden variety problem we are dealing with here.  This is significant.

Not the words I wanted to hear.

I tried my best to keep up with my active husband on vacation.  He truly prefers hiking and exploring all of the parks.  I used to love doing that sort of thing.  Now, walking any distance is difficult for me.  It's also frustrating because he just doesn't understand.  So, I believe that I must have gone a bit too far and have sent my body into some sort of "crisis" mode.

I should have known better.  This has happened before.

Sometimes, one has to just say NO.

I am including some photos of the girlz at one of our first stops in North Carolina.

Chloe (for some reason) has an problem with dog parks.

Dog parks of any kind.

She does not like them.  So she will rebel.  I managed to get her inside the gate for about 87 seconds and then she was headed back out again.

LadyBug would have been quite happy to stay there...or continue doing laps around the park!

oh Jeanne, I sure hope you're starting to feel better, whatever the flair up is.

And My husband gets totally frustrated with my hearing impairment, as if it's something I have any control over?... and I'm the one who lives with it 24-7. He only has to deal with it when he's in my presence. *sigh* It makes me worry about retirement years.

I sure hope your new meds are better for you. And yes, you need to say no for your own good. MOM has a friend who can not hike very far with us. When he reaches the point to turn back he tells us. Two things happen we turn back with him or he tells us to keep going and he will wait for us where we started. It works out well.
Blessings,
Goose

OH Jeannie, I hope the new doctors can find out what is happening. It really is bad when your mind wants to and your body can't.

Love the dog park pictures, the spoke volumes about how the pups feel.

And if you ever do come to Utah, let us know, we will make sure you see all the grand sites. Although, I am not sure I would ever leave your part of the world as the photos have shown a wonderful place

OMG, I can't believe you were gone for a whole month, Jeanne!? Doesn't time FLY?

A close friend of mine in Florida has a sister with Lupus, so I understand a bit about autoimmune disease.

Just know that I'm sharing much good energy with you, dear lady...

((((((( You ))))))))

Great photos of the girlz, especially the first one of the three of you!

Have a super week!

Dear Jeanie, My friend I'm so sorry you have to deal with such serious health issues-I had no idea! Please feel free to email me with specific requests that I can pray for. I'm sure the stress of dealing with all your dad's estate probably didn't help either. When we were dealing with hubby's siblings, my blood pressure was so high. I thought things were coming to an end only to find out that the proceeds from the sale have to be divided up differently-with tax ramifications for each sibling.
I know Hunter isn't really sure of dogs parks if there are big dogs around-he doesn't like them at all. So prefers to play with small dogs.
Sending hugs and love to you today.

Jeanne, so sorry to hear you are in crisis mode with your health issues...

I hope you are doing better and better with new therapy and in time. I wish for you the best of health. I hope your health care professional team has answers and solutions that can assist you in every way possible so you can be in your best of health.

My Chloe wouldn't like a dog park either, I don't think. I never take her there because I am afraid she will pick up something. There are so many doggies around where I live, it's "bad" enough - lol!
Besides, she's pretty territorial, can you tell?

How frustrating to have the opportunity to do something you love and your body betrays you. I understand why you overdid it. Hopefully the ill effects will wear off.

Your health struggles break my heart. I hope you can find relief. Keep pushing for solutions.

We did not know about your illness, but we are so very sorry to hear that this is not a good time. Maybe the trauma to your thumb sent some sort of message to the rest of your body to revolt. We hope the new meds will help a lot so you can be feeling better soon.

We don't get to go to the dog parks, Mom doesn't think they are a very good idea because not everyone who goes there is good about keeping their dogs under control.

Take care and feel better.

Sending our strongest White Dog healing energies and positive thoughts. Momma has had to shake up her diabetes meds just recently and she sees a day soon when she will have to use insulin because her body, too, is getting to comfortable with the pills. Please try to recuperate and not over push or stress yourself to give yourself time to mend and reduce inflammation.

Yikes! I have fallen so far behind. In everything. Or, so it would seem!

I am so sorry to hear about the meds. Gosh, I was wondering how your finger is doing and now this.

Let me know when we can get together. You have been in my thoughts so much!
