Tasty Tuesday: The Non-Vegetarian Version!

I have to admit...my girlz love BEEF!!! They don't get it all that often, but here's a recipe for you to try for something different!

2 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup powdered milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 egg
6 tablespoons vegetables oil
8-10 tablespoons water
2 small jars of strained baby food...beef flavor! (or you can use chicken, lamb or liver)

Preheat oven to 360 degrees.

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and knead for about 3 minutes. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick. Cut with bone-shaped cookie cutter and place biscuits on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.

Makes about 2 dozen biscuits.

Store them the same way you would store people cookies. You can also freeze these in ziplock freezer bags...the girlz prefer them to be slightly microwaved to heat them up a bit...they think they taste better!!

Wow we never would have thought of baby food but why not? How clever. We must give that a go. Ancient Pip will love them.
Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly

Good grief. If only my Ma would bake then I could eat delicious treats like this. You all are so lucky!

Golden Thanks for sharing. In my house, dad only eats beef. I only taste beef from a doggie treat. Happy Tasty Tuesday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
