Let me give you a few examples...
I picked up the mail at the post office and they actually assigned me my very own BIN! That was a priority to go through as well!
LadyBug was my assistant! It will take several days for me to wade through all of this. The refrigerator and food items are the first things to be taken care of...followed by emptying every drawer and closet and the medicine cabinet in the RV.
Then there is the laundry! We take enough clothing with us so that we do not have to do laundry for the entire month we are away. I have managed to get about half of that done so far.
When I relocated LadyBug's bed from the RV to the house, she immediately jumped in to it! She just wants to make absolute sure that wherever we go...she and her bed are going too!!
Happy Monday everyone!

Wow...one of the reasons why I so enjoy day trips or short trips is that there isn't a great deal of work required. Yes, I guess I am lazy!!! Well either that, or I am a poor planner....I really do admire folks that live on the road, though! You are so well organized! You will have everything put away before you know it!!! The girls are probably happy to be home too.
We always had to plan ahead when there were two of us to take on holiday. Lots to do for sure. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly

"especially for an extended period of time, is that there is an insane amount of packing and unpacking to do!"
Yes, I agree, Jeanne! And don't mind the packing part, but it's the UNpacking that gets to me because there seems to be more stuff than when you packed.
Welcome home, my friend! Have a super week!
X to you and the girlz!
One advantage to living on the move, we don't have to deal with all that switching of the clothes and the food.
Oh, the unpacking is the worst! Even when we go for a long weekend or a week of camping, the laundry and unpacking make Ma crazy! Good luck!
Welcome Home! I know it always feels good!
Happy laundry...YUCK!!!Hahaaa

Thank Cod you have such attentive assistants to help you out!
I've never liked the unpacking part and I've never gone anywhere for more than a week. I can't imagine packing and unpacking a whole months worth of stuff.
Just got back this past week from Myrtle Beach so know about the unpacking and wondering where to put it..... the house was tidy till we came through the doors. lol
We have a trip coming up and those piles are the only part that I dread! There are piles when we pack, and then there are very slowly disappearing piles when we return. I understand your pain!
Welcome home!! Happy unpacking!

Those breath treats look well tasty. Had to go back to an old post as no comment box today? Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
We expect that the pain of unpacking is worth every minute of being away.
