Bathtime with All Natural K9 Kelp!

Owning a couple of snow white bichon frises, I am always in search of products that will keep my girls clean, bright, and NON-Irritated! I need something that is not going to cause them to itch!! I try to find products that are of the natural variety...products that will agree with Miss Chloe's super sensitive skin!!  It is especially a problem to keep the girls clean when they have been in and out of the water...swimming in either the ocean or the lake!!

Let me tell you a little bit about this fabulous product I have just recently discovered!!    K9Kelp is hand-harvested from the pristine ocean waters of Northern B.C. Canada.

The Kelp beds are in a highly protected area with fast flowing cold ocean water which is optimal for producing high quality kelp.

The harvesting location is monitored by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and BC Agriculture (Marine Plants) regarding suitability for human consumption.

Harvesting is done in a manner that respects the sensitive and complex nature of the Kelp forests. Less than 10% is harvested throughout the annual season.

Kelp Type and Nutrients:

K9Kelp focuses on two major seaweeds, Bullwhip Kelp and Bladderwrack Kelp. Both are well recognized for being loaded with nutritional and medicinal properties for canines and humans alike.

Vitamins:

A, B1, B2, B6, B12, Betaine, C, Carotene, Choline, D, E, Essential fatty acids, Folate, Folic acid, K, Niacin, Riboflavin, Soluble fiber, Thiamin

Minerals:

Bromine, Boron, Calcium, Chromium, Copper, Germanium, Iodine, Iridium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Nickel, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Rubidium, Selenium, Sodium, Sulfur, Vanadium, Zinc

In addition to focusing on Kelp, K9Kelp products are further complimented with the use of therapeutic pure essential oils and moisturizing butters.

K9Kelp's ingredients' have been formulated to address specific canine ailments and to maintain their healthy lifestyle. You will not find any fillers, watered-down ingredients, or unnecessary artificial fragrances.

You will only find the very BEST of what Mother Nature has to offer!!

I gave the girls a bath using the shampoo and the conditioning spritz.  I really enjoyed the feel of the conditioning spray...it made their fur very easy to comb through and feel these two products are a great addition to our grooming routine.  Here's a few words about the conditioner...

The conditioner is K9Kelp's most popular product due to it's multi-purpose use!

They have uniquely created the Spritz by steeping Kelp to release the complex minerals and nutrients. When absorbed into your dogs coat/skin it will make it more supple, healthy, and odor-free.

In addition, the ingredients include a special blend of pure therapeutic grade essential oils for aromatherapy and naturally healing elements.

Some people may ask why K9Kelp is more expensive than others...

Less expensive supplements may include fillers or the Kelp in it's entirety has less nutritional pieces. Another way that others can offer such low prices is that the Kelp is harvested commercially by dredging the ocean floor and basically destroying the Kelp forests.

Lastly K9Kelp is only Human-Grade quality which is protected and monitored by the Department of Fisheries & Oceans.

And here you have the AFTER version of Chloe...doesn't she look awesome??  Thanks so much K9Kelp!  Highly Recommend!!

~ Disclosure...I received product from K9Kelp in exchange for my honest review~

Hi Y'all!

Thirty years ago the Humans started having Kelp shipped to them as a horse feed supplement. It is great stuff. Never knew a dog could take a bath in it!

You look fantastic, Miss Chloe!

Y'all come by now,

Wow. I live in Southern British columbia, and other than feeding my bichon fish products and supplements, this is news to me! (and we talk of that 100 mile diet!) I'll be alerting my dog's groomer, it's been a hellish and hot summer for poor white dogs. Much appreciated.

I am sold on K9 Kelp shampoo and Conditioning Spritz. It totally eliminates the "hound dog" smell on Bentley. We just received a big bottle that we ordered and I am a lifelong fan!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Thanks Molly! Yeah....the girls have to go for baths after swimming! Otherwise, they don't smell too good!
