Good sniffing Chloe! Toby found I stick bug this weekend but we put it in the bushes so he wouldn't hurt it.

Did you say a special prayer with your new friend, Chloe? ☺

Jeanne Pursell said...

Yes we did! We always do with our new friends!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Actually it was a small size praying mantis! Yes, it was our very first encounter with one of those things!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Thank you so much! Appreciate your stopping by!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Hey Thanks Hawk!! We love it when you pop on by!! Hope you are enjoying the Low Country!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Hello Phantom, Ciara & Lightning! That is a small size Praying Mantis!! We have never seen one of them before!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Yes, Ron, Chloe is extremely curious about everything!! She learned that from her Big Brother...who was also that way. If there is anything new or different in her world...we must patiently explain to her what is going on! I swear she understands every single word...

Jeanne Pursell said...

We were trying guys!! We definitely would have freaked if it jumped on our nose!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

It was a pretty small size Praying Mantis...I have actually seen ones that are much larger...but it sure was big to Chloe!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Oh Believe Me...We were being very careful...making sure it didn't BITE!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Chloe is very fascinated with all things that crawl or move or fly...she learned it from her big brother...if there is something new in her world...she must check it out!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

BOL!! You guys are too funny!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Ha! Chloe would not be so brave if her parents weren't right there with her!! She was initially backing away from it...until we told her it was ok! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

She is silly Jen! She is very, very curious about all things that crawl or move or fly!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Oh yeah! She is most interested in all kinds of bugs...or animals! She will spend hours chasing a fly around the house!! BOL!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Oh yes, stick bugs! We had found one of those a couple of weeks ago...we always have to relocate them to be sure that they don't get hurt! Thanks for stopping by!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

BOL! Really?? You would have TAKEN it somewhere???? That is silly!!

Jeanne Pursell said...

Yes, Emma, Chloe is very gentle with all creatures...she even had a chipmunk in her mouth...she didn't hurt it and she let me remove it from her mouth so that I could relocate it to safety!

Cathy C Bennett said...

WOW! that would have been a first for Harley also!
