#PetSafe Train 'n Praise Potty Training System

**Disclosure:  I received one PetSafe Train 'n Praise System for review.  No other compensation was received.  All opinions are my own.  PetSafe is not responsible for the content of this review.**

The PetSafe Train 'n Praise is a reward system that utilizes a handheld remote and a treat dispenser to positively reinforce good behavior at home.

This system was named by Dr. Marty Becker as one of "Becker's Best" products at the Global Pet Expo in 2013.  It provides an easy and positive way to housetrain your dog and it's perfect for pets who live in apartments or condos...or just don't have the ability to go outside if you are working long hours.  Positive reinforcement via the included treat dispenser rewards dogs for utilizing the pee pad.

There is a replaceable moisture-detecting pee pad that is remotely connected to PetSafe's Train 'n Praise treat dispenser.  The pad can absorb up to three cups of liquid and is made up of six layers for extra protection, including a pet attractant layer, an odor-absorbing layer, and a leak-proof bottom.

When moisture is detected on the pad, a wireless signal is transmitted to the treat dispenser which releases a treat!!  Therefore, the system is rewarding your dog for using the pee pad correctly and, in turn, reinforces good behavior!

A hand-held remote device is also part of this training package and right now my Chloe is trying to figure out how to master the remote so she can "treat" herself whenever she wants!  BOL!!

You can purchase your own PetSafe Train 'n Praise System at PetSafe.net  The system includes the treat dispenser, a remote transmitter, 10 moisture-detection pee pads, one pee-pad clip, 4 AA batteries, 2 3-volt lithium batteries (#CR2032) and mounting hardware.

You can also purchase additional clips, pee pads, batteries or an optional AC power adapter.

This system is AWESOME for those of us with small dogs who may not be able to hold it as long as bigger dogs.  Chloe had no trouble at all adapting to the system.  LadyBug is a little bit timid around the dispenser as it does make a sound when the remote is pressed and treats are dispensed.  Even though there is a switch to turn off the noise, LadyBug is still a bit startled by the noise that the dispenser makes....just dispensing the treats.

Chloe had absolutely no problem after she figured out that this little unit actually FEEDS HER!!  Life cannot get much better than that!!

We highly recommend the sytem!  It is a quality made system and it works!

If she could talk...she'd be saying...I am going to just stand right here until those treats come POURING out!!

what a neat little system. I'm having one heck of a time with housetraining. One day he'll do great and the next I've got puddles everywhere
